Progress Check In 10-31-22:

Endurance has built up greatly, walking better and longer. About 10 minutes to 30 minutes longer. Not hearing the dragging of her back foot as much, less tripping. Left forearm is still weak with rotations. Will continue working on strength exercises within her limit. Has lost 2 cm around chest & waist. Still working on pelvic floor issues, and maybe seems to have a little less accidents. Worried about weight loss and don’t want her to get any skinnier, adding in another meal time and not as long of walks.

Measurements 10-31-22:

right back leg – 26cm
left back leg – 25cm
waist – 51cm
chest – 64cm
weight – 45lbs

New Check in Date 12-12-22

Next 6 weeks - repeat sessions 1-6 (holiday season)

Holiday Season is coming up and owner will be working more. Since we want to see her core strength build up more before progressing onto the forelimbs let’s repeat the last 6 weeks from the top. Focusing more on form and duration.

Since it is colder out and worried about weight loss we want to focus more on completing the exercises 4 times per week and not as long of walks.

Need to add in massages DAILY even for short amount of time focusing on neck, chest and shoulder area to work on breaking up that scar tissue, currently about 2 eggs shapes, want to get down to 1 egg shape. We’ll check back in 12-12-22

Progress Check In 12-12-22:

Core feels much tighter! Back isn’t as arched. Has been moving a lot more, getting up easier. Not as much rotation in the left forelimb. Shifting about 20% of weight instead of 30% to the right forelimb. Going to start working more on strength exercises for the next 6 weeks more on the forelimbs now that core strength has built up to help stabilize the left forelimb. Scar tissue 2 egg shape seems to be about 1 egg shape now! Pelvic floor issues still ongoing though seems like she has a little more control to get closer to the door.  Continue adding in extra meal time.

Measurements 12-12-22, skipped since we’re seeing progress in more movement and less tightness, will do next time!
