Day 11

Paws Up Hold On You

This works on your dog’s balance and strength by powering up from the hind limbs.

Depending on the size of your dog, you may need to kneel on the ground for smaller dogs or sit into a chair for bigger dogs.

Use a command for this, so your dog knows when and when they shouldn’t jump on you. If they need help understanding the move place their front limbs on your shoulders, hips, etc. Pet and talk to them to help them maintain their balance and feel confident.

Modified or Beginners – have your dog step up onto a klimb, chair, stool, etc with its front feet and hold.
